Help children grow their minds and excitement building a strong desire to be curious about, explore and care for the world through fun reading and rhymes. 

I am a mother to a curious and nature loving 10-year-old boy. One of our favorite things to do is read together at night before bedtime. A tradition for the last decade that we both cherish. I hope to pass along worthy, fun and informational books for you and your family's reading routine.

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona with 4 sisters. At 21, I moved to Anchorage, Alaska to start anew, that is where I got my break in radio while trying to figure out who I was and who I wanted to be. I have now been a local radio DJ in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho and now Arizona over the last 16 years. While working with major marketing and communication companies in the country I have also specialized in voice over work, writing, public speaking, marketing, management, ecommerce, and sales. 

I have lived in stunning places with vastly different and incredible surroundings. I put my passions, experiences, creativity, love for nature and kiddos together, and a myriad of ideas, characters, rhymes, books, and a plan poured out of me. 

Shannon Belock, my illustrator is a friend I have known since middle school. She is talented and I loved watching her bring these characters to life in such a compelling, artistic, lifelike and beautiful way.
